Snefnug Djævlehue er den tredje hue i snefnug serien, som også omfatter Snefnug Nissehue og Nisse Elefanthue.

Snefnug Djævlehue kom til i julen 2023 sammen med min lille søn. Selvom han var nyfødt, skulle han naturligvis også have en nissehue, der matchede resten af familiens. Og da man jo meget ofte bruger djævlehuer til spædbørn, ja så blev det altså til en nisse-djævlehue med det fine snefnugmønster i kanten.

Snefnug djævlehue strikkes rundt nedefra og op. Først strikkes den hvide kant i snefnugmønster. Dernæst dannes djævlehuens karakteristiske form ved at strikke rundt med indtagninger og udtagninger. Til huens top fortsættes der med indtagningerne mens udtagningerne udelades. Huens afsluttes med en pompon på toppen og evt. I-cord bindebånd i siderne.

Snowflake Pixie Hat is the third hat in the Snowflake series, which also includes Snowflake Santa Hat and Santa Balaclava.

Snowflake Pixie Hat came along at Christmas 2023 – as did my second son. Even though he was a newborn, he should of course have a Santa Hat to match the rest of the family. And since pixie hats are often used for newborns, well, then it became a Santa pixie hat with the pretty snowflake pattern at the brim.

Snowflake Pixie Hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. Firstly, the white brim is worked in snowflake pattern. Next, the characteristic shape of the pixie hat is created by in-creases and decreases. Dereases are used to shape the crown, and the hat is finalised with a pompom at the top and optional I-cord ties at the ears.
